In social and physical, or external aspects, a successful person is often revered for their achievements.

From a materialistic worldview, this is certainly true. Humans, like other living beings, have been fundamentally driven to gain advantages in relationships with their kind, which is a basic biological goal.

Traits such as abundant resources to pass on to offspring, attractive appearances that demonstrate superior genes, and socially esteemed behaviors within the community (such as character and personality, ensuring stability within the family unit to be formed) have always been the most important qualities sought in a mate, both in the past and present.

If the ultimate goal of much of human art—novels, poetry, films, theater, paintings, and music—were merely an exaltation of primal and basic self-replication activities, it could be considered quite uninspiring.

People do not equate the self-replication of amoebas or the midday mating of stray cats on the street with the dramatic self-sacrifice of a male protagonist in a drama or the poignant story of a female protagonist.

However, from a purely objective materialistic perspective, aren't these all fundamentally the same acts of self-replication, albeit with a difference in the number of atoms? At least from Earth's perspective, these tiny movements on its surface might be as insignificant as a bothersome pimple to us.

Describing "love" or "the process and phenomena leading to human mating" as mere wriggling is, I think, also an action unique to humans, who have a highly developed brain capable of lin-king these concepts to God, the universe, and further to the ideation within human beings, thereby making a higher subjective value judgment.

When viewed from a distance, like the Voyager spacecraft looking back at Earth from the far reaches of space, the realization that dawns upon shedding a purely materialistic perspective and viewing from a third-party standpoint is this: deductively, all human beings are valuable simply because they are capable of such high-level thinking.

Theoretically, each of us, as individuals, may have qualitative differences in intellect and experience, but we all possess a unique microcosm within our inner world that is not duplicated by others.

This is the fundamental meaning of "self" beyond a materialistic worldview and becomes the foundation for accepting and distinguishing the world around us. 

 However, if one does not realize this and instead thirsts endlessly for the insufficiencies encountered in human society, or if one becomes arrogant and conceited about having more of what will soon vanish, looking down on those with less, feeling inferior about one's origin and nature, and arming oneself with cynical thoughts to scoff at the soon-to-disappear world, such a person is a slave completely dominated by the materialistic world and simply unaware of that fact.

Therefore, fundamentally, the attitude we should adopt is to recognize the biological limits of ourselves as beings (various biological desires that make up humans, such as the desire for achievement, material, sex, food, and sleep), acknowledge the existence of the inner world behind the material world as beings capable of high-level thinking, and understand and accept the world based on this awareness. 

 By doing so, we will no longer agonize or suffer over changing materials, but simply observe them as phenomena, gaining interest and stability merely by existing.
